Child and Youth Development Center has taken several measures to build up education and skills of Tsunami affected personal. This center carried out several campaigns to serve the youth to enrich their professionals skills such as computer literacy. Computer training center is established in resource center which is well equipped with modern computer facilities. 

English is essential part of the basic education. Training program is established to teach English to children. Establishment of a library helps those displaced children with their education. The library consist of large amount of books ranging from English, Religion, Science and Story Books.

These children who have faced painful experiences in their lives need something which will help them to forget what happened to them and their loved ones. PIN foundation is extremely concerned in rebuilding the mentality of these children. Therefore as a result they have started training programs in “Traditional Dancing” in the Child and Youth Development Center . Most of the children are actively participating in this program and everyone believes that these types of programs will help them to improve their hidden talents as well.

Preschool program has been set up by the resource center with the purpose to help those parentless, homeless  and displaced children with their educational needs.. Preschool  assists children of the Tsunami affected area to start their primary education. Preschool is conducted by the teachers who had their training by the Asia foundation. Preschool is very popular and it is the first step in establishing primary education for poor affected children.
