Programs And Campaigns

PIN Foundation's prime aim is to provide assistance to poor children in their education  and rehabilitate the homeless, parentless and displaced children. PIN Foundation has developed the new concept of establishing the children's Resource center where education, health and the social well being of displaced children are being looked after. PIN Foundation seeks to address this problems through educational, health and the orphan sponsorship programs.

 

More than 40,000 people have been killed in Sri Lanka by tsunami triggered    by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake in southern Asia. Undersea earthquake, with its  epicenter near the Indonesian island of Sumatra, was the biggest in 40 years.  It triggered 10-metre high waves that hit  Sri Lanka on 26th of December 2004.

Coastal areas of Sri Lanka have been destroyed by a Tsunami that hit innocent people and their property without any warning whatsoever. The death  toll is over 40,000 and over a 100,000 people have been rendered homeless.

  • PIN Foundation conducts medical clinics for the Tsunami victims and distribute free medicines to patients. In addition we look after the health of the displaced families every day. PIN Foundation has 275 parentless, homeless and displaced children registered with them.

  • PIN Foundation is providing the free books and Pencils to children of the displaced families.

  • PIN Foundation provides the shelter to few families until they are relocated and the free milk food to the displaced children. Right now there are over 300 displaced children living in our community center
